This is a hand I drew recently from a reference.
The reference was in shadow and had a direct light source.
I first sketched the hand with a pen, then I colored it in with a purple(for the shadow) and yellow(for the rim lighting) hightlighter
I didn’t like the way it looked, so I took out my colored pencils and started to color it again.
I really like the way this turned out, especially since I’m not experienced with colored pencils.
